Ethiopian Infosetters Create Humanitarian Plan

Report from Kembolcha Infosetters

Ethiopia's first Syntegration was held on February 27-29 at Kembolcha, South Wallo. The event was organized by Mr. Mohammed Yimer and was attended by 32 participants including factory workers, private ownership, merchants, and students among others. The good turnout was the result of timely publicity with invitations going out well in advance, enabling some people to attend from Addis Ababa. Everyone contributed ideas for each game and team meeting, although some refused to be photographed. In order to meet the needs and feelings of the Infosetters, the process was carried out with care. By the end of the three days, six Consolidated Statements of Importance were created.

At the closing of the event, participants committed to organize people in other towns in Ethiopia, including Addis Ababa. WSA/WCF was asked to set up a branch office in Ethiopia to promote rights, encourage Syntegration movements, and to encourage the government of Ethiopia to cooperate with Syntegration efforts. In addition, since only four out of all those in attendance hold World Passports from WSA, 28 people requested application forms.

We thank our correspondents like World Syntegrity Project director and WSA for helping us, and we are pleased to receive World Citizen News with our statements and photos in it.

We Infosetters from Ethiopia are one part of World Citizens.
