Ethiopian Infosetters Create Humanitarian Plan
Report from Kembolcha Infosetters
Ethiopia's first Syntegration was held on February 27-29 at Kembolcha, South
Wallo. The event was organized by Mr. Mohammed Yimer and was attended by 32
participants including factory workers, private ownership, merchants, and
students among others. The good turnout was the result of timely publicity with
invitations going out well in advance, enabling some people to attend from Addis
Ababa. Everyone contributed ideas for each game and team meeting, although some
refused to be photographed. In order to meet the needs and feelings of the
Infosetters, the process was carried out with care. By the end of the three
days, six Consolidated Statements of Importance were created.
At the closing of the event, participants committed to organize people in other
towns in Ethiopia, including Addis Ababa. WSA/WCF was asked to set up a branch
office in Ethiopia to promote rights, encourage Syntegration movements, and to
encourage the government of Ethiopia to cooperate with Syntegration efforts. In
addition, since only four out of all those in attendance hold World Passports
from WSA, 28 people requested application forms.
We thank our correspondents like World Syntegrity Project director and WSA for
helping us, and we are pleased to receive World Citizen News with our statements
and photos in it.
We Infosetters from Ethiopia are one part of World Citizens.
Statements of Importance
1. WORLD LAW AND RIGHTS OF CREATURES
To bring worldwide uniform rights to all species including human beings, we
believe the presence of one world law is critical.
We are equal in dignity; furthermore, world law ensures that, in logical fact of
nature, world is a common property.
World citizens should create common world law that:
- Has its own one central universal office interconnection with universal
economic root.
- Sets up branch office in each country to receive general rules from central
and to control the practical operation of this rule in any local process.
- Should be neutral and be able to ban any countries overstepping religious
boundaries.
- Encourages world citizens to syntegrate and coordinate citizens to be able to
solve universal social problems.
- Does not use economic sanctions as punishment against military dictatorship
and terrorism of one country because that can harm the rights of the people in
that country; instead, then, it is better to educate citizens in systems of
peaceful political struggle and the advantages of unity to eradicate cruel and
military policies, to bring democracy to all countries and encourage science in
useful fields to bring prosperity to all countries.
- Develops important human character in social life and society.
2. WAR
War is a man-made problem that leads man himself and others to disappearance as
well as results in abnormality of species in their environment.
The better way is to:
- Understand how to solve conflicts through peaceful assembly.
- Introduce universal line which adapts democracy and human rights.
- Create court justice in each state that controls the production of killing
materials and spending of money for military purposes that specially focus on
nuclear production and its trail.
3. HUNGER
We citizens know that food is a crucial and basic need to all life.
To have sufficient worldwide food supplies, citizens should:
- Exchange practical experiences and education on how to use natural resources,
how to construct mechanized world from land through advanced technology of
cooperation.
- Create maintenance sectors of environment connected with work opportunities
for all citizens who are able to help themselves first.
- Practice universally methods of birth control.
4. ENDEMIC POVERTY
- To eliminate poverty, world law should encourage world citizens to focus on
work, even if one has to travel to another country.
- Create global economic budget that functions to distribute wealth for
purposeful studied expense.
- Set up free educational media that guides world citizens how to use modern
technology management and natural resources.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE
The disappearance of wildlife and plant species from the surface of planet earth
results in an uncomfortable condition to man himself.
To keep balance of nature and environmental damage, we world citizens should
create:
- Wide environmental maintenance programs in all countries.
- Rule that controls industrialized countries from putting their residue and
chemicals as they want.
- Pressure on practical extension programs to educate world farmers how to
construct houses without wood, how to plant fast growth species to bring about a
normal environment.
6. HEALTH AND ECONOMY
The greatest world social problems mostly concern health and economics.
To improve world health and economy:
- Common world economy should increase expense for health.
- Set up World Health Organization branch in all countries and follow up its
functions.
- Construct roads and other means of communication that enable access to medical
care and supplies for all human beings in rural areas.
