Registered World Citizen Arthur Burton brought along the World Flag as he Walked Across Europe for a Nuclear-Free World in 1995. The World Service Authority also provided Burton with World Citizen buttons to distribute along his route. Originally from Bulgaria, Burton became a U.S. citizen in 1987 as a conscientious objector. He has lived and traveled in many countries and considers himself a Cosmic Being, not identifying with any country or nationality.
