World Syntegrity News

The individuals comprising the 23 groups of Infosetters to date (totaling some 750 individuals worldwide) are all de facto world legislators--that is, they all have participated in the process of writing law.

In the following communities around the world, still more world-citizen legislators are preparing to contribute to this "world constitutional town meeting":

* Ethiopia: Awassa, Asila, Goba, Addis Ababa, Arebamench, Lekemet, Gema, Herere, Asemera, Kembolcha, Bati, Dessie, Degan, Gerba

* Sierra Leone: provincial Infosets in 12 districts

* Dhaka, Bangladesh

* Khémisset, Morocco

* Wellington, New Zealand

* Wukari, Nigeria

All of these Infosetters are desperately in need of funds to assist them in holding their Syntegrations. Please send your donations to the World Citizen Foundation, 113 Church St., Ste. 303, Burlington, VT 05401, USA. (The World Syntegrity Project is a program of the World Citizen Foundation. All donations may be tax-deductible, pending IRS approval of tax-exempt status.)

A printed version of the updated "Collated Statements of Importance," containing the results of all Infosets held to date, is available through the World Citizen Foundation for US$9.95. This document can also be found on the Internet, at the World Citizen Web site: http://www.worldcitizen. org. These statements represent the voices of world citizens who have exercised their personal sovereignty, rising to the challenge of creating a democratic world constitution that will provide the foundation for a peaceful democratic world government.

The world needs you, too! If you would like to participate in the World Syntegrity Project in your community, please contact WSP director Dianne Tangel-Cate through the World Citizen Foundation, at the address listed above; or phone: (802) 660-8998; fax: (802) 864-6878; or e-mail: worldcitizen@compuserve.com.
