How Can We, As Sovereign World Citizens, Govern Our World?

More and More Infosets

We have just received the Statements of Importance from the Infoset that took place February 27-29 in Combolcha, South Wollo, Ethiopia. Those statements, along with photographs, will be printed in the next issue of World Citizen News. Mohammed Yimer, the Infoset's organizer, previously wrote: "Due to religion, military dictators, and loss of reality in the thinking of many leaders in Africa and in other continents, human rights are being undermined. Who can control it? World law, after it is constructed, will be one way. It can be true when each of us participates through Syntegration to unite universally. If we continue, I think constitutional law will be the answer to our central question. My wish and interest is to see it in the year 2000." One of the participants in the Combolcha Syntegration is interested in organizing an Infoset himself, in the town of Dessie, Ethiopia.

Another Infoset in Ethiopia, being organized by Seleshi Admassu, has been scheduled for May 6-8, providing they secure the funds they need to carry it out. Mr. Admassu has 27 participants registered for this Infoset in Addis Ababa. If you would like to help this group of individuals in Addis Ababa who are committed to contributing to the evolution of a democratic world constitution, please send your donations as soon as possible to Seleshi Admassu, P.O. Box 165, Debre Zeit, East Shoa, Ethiopia.

The organizing efforts of (Name Withheld by Request) in Manila, Philippines, are increasing as he nears what he says will be "one of the best Syntegrations here in West Asia."

Rev. Nathan Russ is organizing an Infoset at a Liberian refugee camp in Ghana. It has been scheduled to take place March 29-31. (Rev. Russ also participated in the Infoset that was held in Accra, Ghana, last summer.) And an Infoset in Tempe, Arizona, U.S.A., being organized by Doug Carpa, is planned for mid-June.

Enthusiastic requests for information about the ever-growing World Syntegrity Project continue to come in to the World Citizen Foundation office. For more information about participating in, organizing, or sponsoring Infosets, contact the project director, Dianne Tangel-Cate, at 113 Church Street, Burlington, Vermont 05401, USA; phone: (802) 660-8998; fax: (802) 864-6878; e-mail: info@worldservice.org.
